My 5 Favorite Creative Resources
Personally, I always appreciate a top five list! I wanted to share the love to other designers and creatives out there and talk a little about my favorite and most-used creative resources. HONEYBOOK
Honeybook is the client management system that I use in my business. It helps me stay organized with project due dates, proposals, contracts, invoices and more. Honeybook allows you to create your own project pipeline where you can track each clients progress. You can upload your own brochures, proposals or contracts, or customize the templates they provide. There are various automation workflows that save you time and effort. Need to send a follow up reminder for your customer to pay their invoice? Automate that. A new potential client completes your inquiry form? Automate a reply with your questionnaire.
Honeybook also offers a robust mobile app, where I can quickly update documents or dates on the fly. Some of my favorite features include the ability to create automated task reminders based on specific project types, easy to use custom proposals and invoices and a seamless customer experience that allows clients to make payments.
MOYO STUDIO
Where do I begin? Moyo Studio has seriously taken over the market with their elevated stock photography and brand mock-ups. They produce high quality work that constantly blows me away. Moyo Studio offers themed packages as well as subscription plans to their mock-ups, stock photos and scene creators. They have their style nailed with the minimalist and modern aesthetic. They work closely with their subscribers and customers and constantly have their ear to the ground for gaining insight on what types of designs to offer next. I love how creative they are and truly stand out among the competition. 10/10 recommend.

TRELLO
Trello has been one of my go-to tools throughout my career. I’ve used it in my full-time day job as well as my design business. Trello is an easy to use project management tool. I create a board for every client project, internal business tasks, and even reminders for day to day life! I create a template that I can easily replicate for each new project that includes start date, deliverables, project scope and due date. Since each project varies slightly, I am able to customize each checklist with the appropriate items per client. For more detailed projects, having the ability to add clients to your board helps everyone stay on task and organized. Also - the fact that it’s free is also a no-brainer.
CREATIVE MARKET
Creative Market is an amazing resource for all things fonts, graphics, templates and photos. I opened my own Creative Market shop back in 2015 and continue to add new photos, templates and mockups to it through the years. There are over 3.7 million handcrafted fonts, graphics, photos and more. There is something for everyone for every type of project.
If you are a designer, I highly suggest checking out Creative Market to sell some of your work. There is a network of over 6 million members, no exclusivity lock-in on your work and no product approval process. You can earn 70% on each sale as well as set your own prices. Once a customer purchases an item, they are instantly delivered without you ever having to lift a finger. Like I said, it’s pretty amazing!

OVER
You’ve already heard me rave about Over here. When an idea strikes me while I am on the go and away from my computer, instead of jotting down the idea in my notes app, I am able to quickly design something right from my iPhone in Over. I can honestly say, not a day goes by that I don’t utilize the app! My favorite five features are:
